Valestock takes place on Guernsey (one of the Channel Islands) between 17-18 July. A mixture of home-grown and international talent form the headlining acts for the two-day event.

Mark Guillou, Promoter (and pretty much everything else!), has been running the event every year since 1992 with the exception of last year when a disastrous fundraising idea cleared out funds and forced the event to be called off. Mark says the island-based music extravaganza was set up "to provide an opportunity for young bands to perform" in a community where the outlets are limited.

Vale Castle, protected by the Guernsey Heritage Committee, plays host to the event where the medieval roots of the hilltop fortress combine with the modern vibes of the festie scene’s contemporary rockers.
