By Car

Womad festival is at Rivermead Leisure Complex, Richfield Avenue, Reading.

Reading is situated about 40 miles west of London, and is easy to get to by public or private transport. It is recommended that people try and use public transport to avoid traffic queues getting on and off site. This applies particularly to day ticket holders.

The site is situated just off the M4 motorway. Take junction 10, 11 or 12 and follow the Womad signs.

Parking

You should be be able to park your car within 150metres of where you are camping. Alternatively there are excellent parking facilities for all festival-goers.

By Rail The Womad festival site is a 20 minute walk from Reading Station with direct services from Paddington (every half hour, journey time 25 minutes), the West Country, the Midlands, North of England and Scotland. Check out Railtrack's excellent timetable service
